A. Bedding fluff is B-A-D-! It can get stuck in your hamsters throat when she carries it around in her mouth and if you plan on getting her a mate and having babies, the fluff can wrap around the pups legs and neck, so fluff is a no-no! To substitute it, just use clean toilet paper without color on it.
I suggest using aspen, and wood pulp. Don't use cedar or pine as the aroma can damage a hamsters lungs. Don't use corn cob as it can attract mice and ants.

How should I determine what size bedding will fit my children mattress best?
Q. Wants to buy bedding for my daughter but don't know which bedding will suitable for the mattress. How can I insure that it will best fit.
A. To insure the best fit with any of our bedding, you should measure your mattress before deciding which size to purchase. Some mattresses are made thicker than others, so there is a variance on mattress thickness within each size. The thickness of your mattress will affect the amount of overhang that bedding covers will have. If you want to leave more material to hang over the side of the mattress, you may want to purchase a bedding size that is actually larger than your mattress size. For example, several people prefer buying king size bed coverings for queen size mattresses to allow for more material to tuck under or to let hang over the mattress. Although we still recommend you measure your own mattress to get the most accurate fitting guide, we have included a quick reference guide to mattress sizes here. However, this is does not guarantee an exact fit.

What is the best bedding to use with little mice?
Q. I've been using that soft carefresh bedding and they seem to really like it, but I know this bedding can cause breathing problems just like pine with some animals. I've tried Aspen and they don't like it at all. Also, is the Carefresh okay with Robo hamsters?
Actually Carefresh can cause breathing problems in rats...trust me I know. I lost one because of this.

A. carefresh is a good bedding but if it seems too dusty then get carefresh ultra instead the aspen is bad the wood contains oils and odors that can make them sick you can also try soft sorbent but i've never heard of carefresh causing breathing problems its the wood chips that do
