Q. Our bathroom was redone fairly recently (within the last 5 years) and the ceiling and tops of the walls are spotted with mold! Ewww! I don't recall that happening before, at least not to this degree. How can I get rid of it? And how can I prevent it? Is there a certain paint or a certain type of drywall that prevents this sort of thing from happening?
And also, how can I get rid of the mold that's already there?

A. Bleach will remove it and deter it coming back. Next time you repaint use a special bathroom paint. If possible install an extractor fan and ventilate, ventilate, ventilate.

Q. Okay so I have 2 brothers and my mom complains of the bathroom floor of being wet because were in and out from the bathtub to the sink. Sometimes water is dropped to the floor and sometimes people slip and fall. She always puts towels to dry it up but that doesn't work that well. A. You could put some bathroom rugs down. I have some in my bathroom. Hope this helps!
