what are some furniture sites comparible to pottery barn but less exspensive?

Q. i love the idea of having furniture with built in storage that still looks chic. i also like an vintage feel. any suggestions?

A. try ebay and search on "pottery barn." ditto Crate and Barrel. our nearby outlet mall has outlet store for both of these, so try that as well. fyi, the style PB specializes in is sort of a minimalist modern.

How do I remove dirt and dead skin?
Q. I do a lot of furniture building and my hands have become extremely dry. I moisturize often, but my skin is like sandpaper!!
There is also dirt set deep into the dry skin on my hands. I've scrubbed for ages with no success. Beginning to get a little frustrated >:( What is the most effective way to soften my hands (gently)?
Home remedies please !

thanks so much. x

A. Find something like a face wash that is an exfoliator gently rubs in small circles all over your ruff skin rinse then dry and remember to add a moisturizer back on afterwards

Where would you hole up during a zombie apocalypse?
Q. I'd go to the Menards hardware store near my place. They got food, furniture, building supplies for barricades, power tools ... pretty much everything. The only thing that it doesn't have is guns, but there's a Gander Mountain a block down the road, and I could always build a tunnel there with the stuff in Menards.

I'm a genius and ready to bust some shuffler's heads.

A. I'm going to your house
