Q. I'm getting a new place and I would like advice about what is appropriate wall decor and furniture choice and style for my new place. I'm 32 years old and I am single, conservative, straight and a christian. My goal is to express myself and still and most importantly honor God in my choices. If you have an interest in sports or a hobby you can incorporate that into your decorating.
It might be a good idea to go to a large furniture store and just look around to see what you like. Some decorators say you can look through magazines like Better Homes and Gardens and cut out pictures of rooms that appeal to you. By looking at the pictures you can then see the style that you like.
The important thing is to pick things that you really like. Take your time and enjoy the process.
