Q. I currently live in the USA and my gf lives in Thailand. Just wanted some websites from expats or thais living in Thailand for home plans/designs.

can you use a home plan from a builder for your personal plot of land?

Q. Can you use a home plan from a builder for your personal plot of land? In other words, if I like a model home that I see for a popular builder can I use the floorplans that they have and get my own contractor to build the same home?

A. You can although like all intellectual property you have to pay for them

is there any free software for drawing home plans which is very user friendly ?

Q. I am looking for free home plan software which is basic and easy to draw.

A. You can find Google Sketchup for free. It can be trial, but you csn find codes online.
