How to get a contract with homebuilder for tile installation?

Q. I am a ceramic tile installation specialist. Does any one know how to search for a homebuilder directory and post your self as a potential contractor.

A. go to all the tile centers and carpet places in ur area and touch base with them....get to know all ur other installers and maybe u can take up some of thier over flow,,......even if its small it gets r foot in the door......go to the local building inspectors office and ask to see the permits for new construction and this will give u a lead on who is building and thier contact #.......

What is a fair price for marble tile floor installation?
Q. I need to install marble flooring throughout the house, and I was wondering, what is the fair price per square feet for tile installation?

I already have the marble, so the installer just needs to provide the underlayment, thinset, and floor leveling.

Also, the tile would need to be installed in 45 degree angles, instead of straight rows.

Thanks!

A. I don't know what part of the country you're in but in the southeast you would typically pay $5 to $8 per sq. ft.. There are lots of people who think they can lay tile so be sure to look at examples of their work before you choose one. Tell your installer you want them laid on the "diagonal". Good luck with your project.
